Sound Good to You? This Is How It Works:
You decide on a half or whole. An average half a hog yields about 75 lbs of meat, which fills a banana box full.
Contact us with your request. We’ll confirm and let you know when to expect the pork.
We call you when your hog is delivered to the butcher.
You call the butcher to make your
Cutting and Curing order.
After the butcher calls, pick up your meat (packaged and frozen) and pay the butcher’s bill for your order.
We will send you an invoice for the amount due to Boerson Farm.

Cost:
$2.25/lb x Hang Weight = Amount Due to Boerson Farm
$75 = Average butcher fee for a half hog (based on cuts ordered)

Sample: 1/2 hog w/hang weight of 95 pounds x $2.25 = $213.75

$ 75.00
Total = $288.75



Please note that the butcher will probably use Nitrites and MSG’s unless you specify otherwise (These are preservatives and flavoring agents that cause adverse reactions in some people).
